A month and a half ago I was a chicken swap and happened to find two mille fleur chicks, they were old enough to sex them pretty accurately. I was looking for more females as I had one pullet and about a million cockerels (which i'm selling still) But now as they have gotten bigger, I think they may be mixed. They have the barred coloring on their tails. Anyone ever heard of this?

Beautiful birds! How old is the pullet with the barring. I would say she most likely has some other breed in her that contributes the barring as I have never seen that before. She does look predominately D'Uccle, though not purebred. She is beautiful though. Very unique. Your other two D'Uccles are very nice as well.

I would say 3 months old. Thank you! I am trying to get a nice line going and when these two girls started showing barring I was upset. I have a couple nice cockerels tho.
