Ducclelover10's chat thread! (Continued)

I'm worried that two of my chicks are boys... And if they're boys I can't keep them. One of the ones I think might be a boy is my favorite! I'll have to find them both good homes.

One would be an EE, and the other a Buff Orpington. I'm usually really good at guessing genders of chicks at a young age. I just hope I'm wrong this time and they aren't boys.

EEs are pretty easy to sex because the boys usually have different feather patterns. I would wait and see. I could have sworn my Silkie was a boy, but one day she laid an egg, so you never know. (This hen had streamers, shiny feathers, a large comb, and everything too.)

Well they are too young to go by feathers. I think the EE is a boy because it's the same age as the rest, but it's bigger in size and it has smaller wings and no tail when the others do have one.

The BO I think is a boy because its comb is larger than the other BO, and it's wings are smaller than all of the other chicks.

I keep telling myself to stop being paranoid and just wait and see, but it's hard! Lol

Yeah I'll try and go get some pictures of him/her right now! I have some but they were from two days ago and she/he has changed since then.

I also have to feed my goats and chickens. I'll get some pictures posted in an hour or two!
