Humm...... ( light bulb!) could it be that a male dear is in the forest? ( if you have dear were you live??) my riding teacher once took her horse out in to the bush and her horse was kinda nervous and jumpy and then a male dear came out of the forest and charged them. my teacher thinks he charged because it was spring and mating season.

We have dears and snakes and about a million other wild animals where we live.
