Yesterday a baby blue jay fell out of it's nest in a tree in our yard, and both of its parents have been guarding it. Last night our outdoor cat Midnight tried to get the baby bird, and both the parents were flying at her face trying to attack her. Today all 3 of my outdoor cats were stalking the baby trying to get it when the parents weren't looking. So I locked them all in my barn. Lets just say they aren't very happy with me right now :/ but the baby bird is doing great! The parents won't let us go anywhere near the baby. The baby was out in the middle of the road and when my dad ran out to chase it out of the road, the parents were trying to attack his head! At least they are keeping the baby safe!
