My mom only let me get chicks this year because my hens are getting old, and my mom wants more eggs. Otherwise she won't let me have more chickens either. I asked her about ducks again today, and she said that I am not having ducks as long as I am under her roof. She said they are too wild and messy. My last ones were really wild, but that was because I had mallards who were terrified of people. I guess I'll have to wait to get more ducks until I move out some day :(
 
Went to a science fair today... Such a long day! I fell asleep at 4:30 when I got home, and when I woke up, it was dark out. I seriously thought I slept into tomorrow... Haha.
 
I've got a broody hen, Sapphire, my Silver Laced Polish. I've just witnessed a tarantula birth. Very eventful day!

You have a tarantula? Those things creep me out! I'm terrified of spiders though. I don't like the way their legs move. It's just FREAKY lookin! In my opinion anyways :D My dad wants a tarantula. My mom and I won't let him though. Lol
 
*shudder* Tarantulas are FAR from cute! Their so creepy! I know some people think they are awesome, but not me!! I don't even like little spiders crawling around on the ceiling. I can't imagine having that big of a spider in the house!

I just looked up pictures of that breed of spider on google. They look freaky and cool at the same time. I don't like those little things by their mouth (feelers?) that move. Also the way their legs move when they walk freaks me out :/
