Broody hen update: Not off the nests. My mom let me put some of our RIR's eggs under them. We saw her breed with our Gold Brahma rooster. Now Macy, our Barred Rosecomb hen, is broody. I guess it's catching

I told my Nankin hen, Caramel: "Don't you even dare to go broody now, Ms. Carry." But she will, probably.

I really want some Lavender Wyandottes. Greenfire Farms is getting them in soon...
