I know how you feel. Two out of my five hens are broody.

The silkie is understandable, but my EE bantam? I thought EE's don't go broody!

Um, no, that's not why they're not broody. Blueberry's 8 months old and broody. It depends on the breed you get or the individual chicken.

Nope. My chickens are less than one year and two of them have gone broody. This is their second time. They will be a year old at the end of May.
