HHH! My chicks won't stop picking at Daffodil's (Buff Orp) tail! Yesterday she broke one of her feathers somehow and despite the fact that we cleaned it really good and covered the spot with corn starch, they STILL keep picking at her! They've broken 6-7 of her feathers in a little more than 24 hours.

The only thing I could think to do was hang some cranberries from a piece of wire so it's something else that's red to pick at. It's helping so far, but any ideas on something else to keep them from picking at her if this doesn't work? I worry that if they keep this up she'll end up being tailless!

That's too much stress for the poor bird. My opinion on the situation is that you should remove her as soon as possible.
