Yay! What breed of chicken are you incubating?
Olive eggers, FCM, and silkies. I started with 21, 19 ended up viable with the other two inferts. And all 19 made it to lockdown.. Now for the stress of the hatch!!!!!

YumChicken and rice, nothing special, but I'm really hungry!
That's what we usually do too. Unless we get a broody henWe always just buy ours from hatcheries, so we don't have to find homes for our roosters.

Just curious, what Hatchery do you usually order from?
I ordered from My Pet Chicken, mainly for low quantity and sexed bantams. My only issue was that my bantam assortment did not contained more than three breeds like they promised. I ordered five, and only got two different breeds. 4 were EE bantams, and the other was a barred rock bantam who died two hours after arrival. I got my money back, but i never reported the issues with the breed variety. 2 of the EEs ended up being rehomed. All my banties were girls though!
We ordered my first chickies from Meyer! That's cool! My dad always used to order from Murray McMurray when I was little, but they have a 25 chick minimum and I can't get more than 10 chicks. So we ordered from Meyer Hatchery this year![]()
