d'Uccles, Silkies, Brahmas, Japanese, and Cochins

@PhantomFeathersFarm In your opinion, what recognized variety of d'Uccle that you breed do you feel is best bred the SOP? What's the second best, recognized or not?

The mille fleurs, golden necks, and porcelains are the most consistent in color and type, but the other varieties produce a large number of good birds, but there are more culls in the offspring. Mostly because they have not been worked with as much. Grays and buffs are just about gone. I know one other breeder of grays that was developed from Booteds, and two breeders of buff, aside from those I have got started in them.

The mottleds and blue mottleds are close to being where the golden necks are.

Now, in my opinion my porcelains I have are the best at meeting the SOP. Judges have also agreed having won the most with them.

The mille fleurs are second, mostly because I have a little less consistency of color, but still the type is very consistent.

Thank you! I'm trying to plan out for next year, so I have a few more questions for you.
I'd be looking to order a dozen hatching eggs about early April if all is going well for you. By then, is it usual that the mille fleur's or Porcelains would be producing enough for that order? I understand that there are variables and that I may not be able to get 12 of one variety. Could I order more than 1 variety in one shipment?

Do you have photos and more information on the Silkie flock and eggs? I’m located in Texas and am interested in finding quality blue, splash and white.

I will have limited amounts of hatching eggs available throughout the next few months as I slow down on hatching for myself.

I am NPIP (AI and PT clean) in Pennsylvania. I can ship to all fifty states.

I do show the majority of my poultry and do rather well with those I do.
