Hello, I've had ducks for about 5 years now and my Lolly is not to bright but Molly takes care of her. So I know they can have mental issues. I got 10 more this spring they are Pekins they are just about feathered. 9 of them are bright and doing all the ducky things swimming and keeping themselves clean. Eating like little pigs. But one won't clean herself at all. I brought her in the house and ran a tub full of luke warm water but she didn't seem to know what to do. She didn't want to swim or pick the mud out of her feathers. I washed her off until she was fairly clean dried her off with a towel and put her in the garage with food and water. she didn't eat at all. Ran another tub this morning and got most of the mud off. When I took her back to the garage she did start cleaning herself but not completely. I let her dry out and took her back to her flock. She seemed happy to be back but she didn't lay down with them she is just standing there. Even Lolly will take care of herself and lay with the flock (right next to Molly). Does anyone have any insights into what is going on I'm stumped. Thanks so much.
