DUCK AIR CELL TURNED YELLOW !!!

Hello.
My duckling hatched about at 5 pm!
The other 2 dies in shell without even internally pipping... i opened them and they where shrink wrapped!

Is it normal for my duck to have like a bump on the bellybutton and it has a little yolk but its tiny?

Is it normal too that it cant stand on its feet after 4 hours?
its moves pretty much around and cheeps a little...

And since he is the last remaining should i put him in the brooder already?

Congratulations on your little one!

I cannot answer all your questions, but I have read here that what you are describing sounds normal. Hatching is hard work and the ducklings (entleinen?) need rest.

keep the bedding very clean while the belly button is open...if you have a little anti biotic ointment that does not contain pain killer that would be great...aren't they the sweetest?? the last little one I hatched didn't get up all the way for a few days lol....kinda walked on its little butt she's all grown up running around out back now!

I'm so happy you have one hatch, it's sure gonna be spoiled if it's an only child. LOL

It's not ideal for there to be a bit of yolk to be out, but his exertions will help him absorb it sooner. Keep him somewhere real clean. I've had new hatches be a bit slow about walking, and with a mama, they stay there in the nest for a day or two before they're all ready to move it out and about with mama. I'd keep him somewhere extra clean until the rest of the yolks in (which is real soon hopefully) then put him in the brooder. A little pink nubby button is ok.

Best wishes!

I dont think he is doing well :( the yolk is dry now and it does not bleed but the duckling is very weak and cant get up at all. but it cheeps sometimes and drags his body around . he seems he is fighting and wants to get up!
earlier at 2 am i woke up and went to check on him and he was not breathing! i opened the incubator and touched it and it started cheeping again! So i made some water with sugar for him and dipped some drops on the bill and he luckilly swallowed it.
I put him in the brooder with clean white towels (to check for bleeding) and he is cheeping and moving .. and he pooped a little green is that normal?

i hope for answers ... i dont want to lose him

it looks good...they always sleep like puddles of fluff...scares my husband the way they look
just keep it nice and warm and offer water and chick or game starter
the green poop is normal!
it's a little precious!

thank you! i am more relaxed now . it is getting a little stronger and its neck holds the head better up!

Do you know how long it takes it to walk and eat?
And it pooped just 3 times since yesterday... I am a little worried because I read so much that the duckling die and I really don't want to lose it...
I bought an disinfection spray for the belly .. How many time should I spray on it?

I thank all for the answers!
