Duck Attack

Hi friends. We are pretty sure we have a weasel or something in that family attacking our duck flock. I have attached a picture of the latest attack. We have wrapped the house in hardware cloth flare in an L shape secured with sod staples and still are worried this will happen again. Our house and pen are on a slope and we just can't seem to get anything deep enough on the down side to prevent digging in. Does anyone have ideas or suggestions on repelling weasels? This picture is of our most docile male duckling (4 months old) that we were raising to replace the patriarch for genetic diversity and after all of this work to raise him we are devastated. Thanks!
