Update on turtles...I actually hired not one but two locals to end them! Paying them on a per turtle basis. They gotta go. Some are huge most tiny, all must be gone I won't let my babies go out on the pond again till they are GONE.

Check for eggs hidden around as well, or ask them too...

Even a vet who doesn't see birds should be able to send a fecal sample to check for parasites or odd bacteria...I have taken stool samples for checking to a standard vet. Not nearly as pricey as a full vet visit.

Did you try horse or livestock vets. They are more likely to be more helpful than dog and cat vets even when it's not their field of expertise.

Update on injured guy...
Still alive. He's been in a bin and kept in our bedroom. Hand fed, electrolytes and antibiotics. He's trying to walk since yesterday which is great. It's sad bc he's got no balance but this is a good thing that he's better enough to try and even make it a few paces before keeling over, poor guy. Gonna swim him to exercise those old legs of his that he's been just sitting on. I've got a good feeling he'll be alright in a few more days. Green beans stuffed with cephlaxin antibiotics seemed to do the trick. Fingers crossed. He's vocal now and active and stands (sorta) to see out the bin, begs for treats and his food/water which are great signs. He can use the broken Bill and it looks allot better too. Thanks for all the advice BYC folks and the well wishes.
