Lastnight i found 2 of my ducks dead, im pretty sure a raccoon got in there because all their eggs were eaten.

This morning when i went to go get them to bury them i found them swarmed with maggots.

I tried a few times to go in there and try to get them off but there is just too many.

What can i do to get all the maggots away so that i dont have to go close to the bodies.

I tried to get close enough to pour peroxide on the bodies but the scene is too gruesome for me.

Is there anything i can do to get them away or will i just have to wait till theres nothing left of my beloved pets?

Just scoop the bodies up maggots and all with a shovel so you don't have to touch them. Then you can transfer them to a hole to bury them.

I agree with Kelly.. Just scoop em up and bury them ... The maggots are doing their job , just as God intended... Sorry bout your ducks

Dont worry about the maggots..when you bury them they'll get maggots on them anyways..Just use a shovel so you dont have to touch them. Take Care

Sorry for your loss. Just grab the shovel and do the job. The sooner you bury them, maggots and all, the safer your other animals are. The smell will draw other wild life.

I am so so sorry about your duckers

, I can imagine how horrible the site is for you to see but get their places ready and pick them up with like a snow shovel, it's completely horrible I know, is there someone else that maybe could do it for you? Here is another thought you could cremate them, I don't know what made me think of that!
