Duck Behavior ( Vibrating Head and Neck )

I have two 8 1/2 week old Mallard females ( indoor pets ) and one of them will vibrate her head and neck super fast and then poke her head into the sleeve of my shirt. She only does this when she hangs out on my lap. Any one else seen this?

Also, their weight is at about 2.25 pounds. Fed Mazuri Starter, RO water, and Vitametz Niacin supplement.

It’s a dominance thing. She is letting you know she is the boss.

She is the boss so that makes sense! I love the 6am "trumpet" blast when she's hungry.
