So I took these 3 ducks from a co worker like 2 weeks ago. They have been quarantined away from my own ducks. They were doing great, eating, swimming etc. I had them locked up one day because I worked a shift at work I didn’t expect and we had a fox on the property.

Well today I let everyone out and she isn’t right. She walks fine, grooms, but when she leans down to drink or eat it’s like she gets tased. She gets stiff and then goes back to standing up straight. Like she can’t bend down. She is not able to eat or drink.

I palpated her and she feels normal except her neck is hard as rock and she tenses when I touch it. I gave her some meloxicam to see if it’ll help. Maybe the boys hurt her?

Any ideas?

Might you upload the videos to YouTube? I dont want tiktok app on my phone so can't view them.

It sounds like she has muscle spasm trapping a nerve, but I would have a better idea if I could see the videos.

Meloxicam is a good start! I would keep her quiet with a quiet female friend and no drakes for a few days and hopefully the problem will resolve

I gave meloxicam 8 hours ago. Did nothing. She can’t eat or drink so I’m afraid we don’t have a few days
