Hi duck lovers! Does anyone know if I should be taking extra steps to to maintain healthy bills on my Pekins (they are 4 months old)? Their bills turn white on the tip when they are in the pond sucking mud too long. And I have one that gouged the top of her bill on something. Another has an area in the shape of a circle that feels softer than the rest.
I am not sure if these are normal "wear and tear" things that happen to their bills. But I just want to be sure, and would like to know if there is anything out there I should be giving them to make their bills stronger?
