yes males always have prettiest coloring. however if you can only keep 7, it would be best to only keep one male . otherwise the males will fight over girls, and the girls will be overbred.
i wasnt going to keep any males at all this time. but i have 12 girls and only 1 boy so were gonna try to keep him

I was going to keep girls with girls and males with males I think I have 2 males but one is still too small. Do you know if that's ok? Thank you for your help

It think it will work out great! there is a chance they may still fight if they can see and hear the girls. But i beleive many people do this successfully

How old is he? Are you adding niacin- i add nutritional yeast for the niacin.
1 tablespoon per cup of feed. It helps with growth and leg problems. Shakey legs/ weak legs are usually because of not enough niacin.

He's about 3 weeks old I have been giving him poly vi sol, where can I find nutritional yeast?

My natural health food store- natural grocers and super supplements both sell it.
You can use either
Brewers yeast
Nutritional yeast
Both will be 1 tablespoon per cup
some people find it at walmart as well
Ducklings need this untill 10 weeks approx.
duck specific feeds usually haev enough added, but some ducklings still need xtra.
If feeding chick feed or flock raiser/ all flock then they need the niacin added
