Duck breed question.... Cayuga or Rouen???

OK, sorry for all the questions tonight but, i bought some pure cayuga and some pure rouen duck eggs at the same time from the same person and they were not marked as to what was what ... all the eggs looked alike and i have no clue... do cayuga's have a yellow belly or the rouens or both??? here are a few pix to help. Thanx again, in advance.

I would go towards cayuga though they dont look like the cayuga ducklings i had . They look more like khaki cambells

Roens would look like mallard ducklings

They are brown not black.

Not sure I thought cayuga were almost solid black, with maybe a little lighter color on their chests. Doesn't look like rouen really either. Maybe send the pic to the person you bought the eggs from and ask them what the breed of the chicks is? Good luck, very cute ducklings

Rouens will be colored like a Mallard. As ducklings and all the way up to an adult.

They look like call ducklings. They look just like the ducklings I hatched last year from a white call hen and a gray call drake.

I agree with Sundown. They don't look like Khakis or Cayugas or Rouens.

Could they be a rouen/Cayuga mix or would they look like 1 parent or another not a mix?

I think the key here is the black feet.

What the key is to, however, I'm not sure.

Black legs & bill=Cayuga. As others have said would be coloured like baby Mallards.
