Duck Breed?

Which duck breed should I buy my teen daughter; Pekin, Black Swedish or White Layered? Which would be best for someone who's new to raising ducklings?

I don't think I've heard of White Layered, but any of those sound like a fine breed to start with. What's most important, I feel, is that you gather all the information you can about providing a good environment for them, understand the basics of their care, prepare for a long term relationship that is not low maintenance, and ask for help when you need it.

well ihear that pekins are the calmest if that helps but personaly i would get the black swedish because they look cooler.
