Hello everyone, I want to compare our breeds and their rarity. I’ll start with Call ducks and Rouens.
Call Ducks
Australia has our own breed our calls known as Australian Call ducks. Our birds are different to yours as they have a larger bill, and they are very difficult to find most of the time.

Rouens
Australia has two (at least I think) types of Rouens, Expedition and Clair. Our Rouens are very similar to yours. Buying Rouens can be hard unless you find a breeder.

An Australian developed breed we have but is very rare to come across is the Elizabeth. The Elizabeth was developed to be used for meat. They are small ducks.
