so my muscovy duck was walking with a limp at the end of december- I caught her and found a lump on her foot with a small black scab on the bottom, so I went about treating for bumblefoot. I did about a week of epsom salt baths, polysporin, and wrapping, until the scab turned from black to red and she was walking comfortably again. She's a rescue and pretty feral- very hard to catch and handle, not comfortable with people at all, so I've been monitoring hands-off since then. From the outside, basically nothing has changed. She still walks sound, but still has a lump on her foot in the exact same place and the exact same size. Does the bump go away after the infection is gone, or will it stay? I'm just in my first year of keeping ducks so it's all very new to me still. I'm worried about her. Catching her is such a stressful ordeal for all of us. What should I do, or what more information is needed to know what to do next?
