My pekin and khaki campbell are very vocal. Definetly the loud quack. They are 7 weeks old as well. Today I put them back in the pen and noticed the pekin is somewhat dominant and the kakhi "obeys." The khaki also now peeps whereas they would both quack when they saw me. I had them separate for two minutes while I put them in their pen and had trouble putting the pekin back while I easily carried the khaki to the pen. Basically it's as if the pekin is mad that the khaki would leave her and the khaki is saying sorry.
I'm pretty sure by the quack they are both females and the pekin is not just being an aggressive mate.
