Duck cancer

I got an old crested Pekin from some friends a while back. She doesn't lay any more and is approx. 6 yrs old.She is very sweet, but has huge cancerous growths on her feet. It doesn't seem easy for her to walk. Normally only my buff male is willing to stay and walk with her while the others speed ahead.I don't want to cull her. I'm just wondering, does anyone know how long she will live?

It sounds like she has bumblefoot.
You can go tot he emergency forum and do a search.
Do you have a local avian vet you can take her to?

No, no one around us is an avian vet. I'll check bumble foot, but when her old owners took her to the vet He said it was cancer. Maybe he'd never seen bumble foot. Will it last for years? She's had it since she was little.

Bumblefoot is a chronis condition. It is a staph infection. The bacteria enters through a wound, like a thorn or a scratch or something.

The duck in the pic has a severe case He is one we took off a shopping mall pond last August where he had been dumped.
