(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
This is my 2nd year with having chickens and ducks.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have none as of right now, I am currently in the process of getting more.
(3) What breeds do you have?
I had a variety of chickens and I have 3 Pekin ducks
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Just having them around, and my kids adore them.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Mostly hanging with family and friends, making memories with my family.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
My husband and I have been married for 14 years, we have 3 beautiful children: ages 16, 13 & 10. We have an old english bull dog that is 12 yrs old named Bentley and then we have a cat named Abu and he is 1. I work at a hospital as an PSA/MA and also am my Townships Clerk.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I was just scrolling through Google and had asked some questions about my previous duck and I came across BYC, I read through some of the comments and questions and figured I could bring any/all my questions/concerns that I may have during my adventures with my chickens/ducks.
