Yes, they love you. They're at "that age" now where the teenage hormones are kicking in, and you're the closest thing to a mate they have if you don't have any females

Or it's possible they're just used to you and they've bonded with you. Most of our ducks do that even though we have males and females. When ours do it, it usually is their way to ask why we're sitting there without giving any treats.

It is a sign of love and one you don't want to encourage. can you get those boys some girls at least 2 each would be good but the more the merrier. Their affection towards you can end up with you being climbed on bitten and not treated very nice at all. Drakes an hormones can get out of hand.

Two per male ?? Would they gang up too much on one if I got one female each ? So then I'd have two males & two females..Is it possible for them to live without having any mates ? They are showing no signs of aggression towards me or each other.

Also what if I can't find the same breed as what my boys are ? They were supposed to be Pekins that I got from Tsc but they are brown and white and have had people tell me they are buff orpington ducks.Would female pekins of the same age be ok ?

You'll likely have more trouble with adding just two ducks than you do with two drakes alone. There's always a dominant drake, and even the ducks themselves often show a preference for a certain drake. When it's mating season, mating is the first thing on a drake's mind. A 1-1 ratio will likely have your females overbred and miserable at best, and injuries aren't at all uncommon in that ratio.

Thanks guys I think being that things are going pretty well now that I'm not gonna worry about adding any females.Wouldnt want anyone to get hurt..
