still winter up here. 29F this morning
snow banks still too big for me to walk over to get to where the tractor is parked. i am patient.
we had ice storms. lots of tree damage all around us. i haven't noticed any here.

Every few days I have been getting an inch and half of rain . About ready to float away

2.5-3" of rain in the past 24 hours. The ground is saturated (no longer frozen). There are big puddles out in the alfalfa fields near us.

I'm putting off planting seeds in the green house until next week. I was hoping to do it by April 1st, but we have 3-4 nights of below freezing temps coming. The green house is passive solar heat.

Every few days I have been getting an inch and half of rain . About ready to float away

We have been in a drought. My plants are drying up.

I was washing windows in the log cabin, and I got ready to come down off the 3 step stool I was using. Lost my balance, and fell, hitting the side of my foot. Went right to the ER. Turns out I broke 9 bones, and have a displacement of the Lisfranc area. Hurts a lot. I was hoping to have surgery right away. As it is, I am supposed to have an OV with the surgeon on Monday ( a week after the fall. ) The poor foot is swollen badly.

I can't bear weight on that foot at all. I was crawling around to get to the bathroom, bedroom, etc. Today my knee scooter came, and hubby assembled it. Works great!
