Hello:frow. I have 5 Pekin ducks, all about 3 weeks old, and I'm wondering what would be good for a duck coop. What are good dimensions for the yard and coop, do they need nesting boxes, roosts, etc. and other important things. I have read that they are able to share a yard with chickens, is this true? I'm really new to poultry, so I have no clue. Pictures would help:)

Thanks in advance!

I have two Pekins, I just have a coop with the floor covered in shavings two windows and a walkin door, Ducks don't roost ( to my knowledge, I may be wrong) My ducks don't share with my chickens though.. Hope this helps

I have 12 Muscovies. My coop is 4' x 8'. They don't have nests. Muscovies like branches and trees tough, but not Pekin.
