So as you can tell, I am a first time duck owner of three. Currently I am pretty sure on 2 of the ducks genders, having one hen and one drake which is the issue. I have one Khaki Campbell, who is our drake, and two Swedish ducks (one is blue, the other one is either blue/silver.) If our other Swedish duck is a drake, I am worried that the drakes will fight, which I have read about. I have the capacity to comfortably house two more ducks, and the house I built with my grandfather has three nesting boxes. If I have another drake, would it be wise to purchase another hen? I wouldn’t mind it at all, and I have a good time taking care of them, and just want them to be safe and happy. I think I would get a Welsh Harlequin if possible, but if it is better to get another duck of the same breed, I would be fine with that as well!
