Duck dragging egg yolk behind her?

H! Always appreciate your feedback!! My oldest duck I just noticed has a small egg yolk looking thing dragging on her behind with what looks like some kind of long clear cord attached. She didn't have this this morning. She's moving around fine, eating and swimming, and she just laid a ton of solid eggs as of a few eggs ago. Anyone ever see this before?

I'll try to get a picture later.

It looks nothing like a prolapse, at least the pictures I've seen of this condition.

I've seen eggs with tails and no shell eggs with tails so a picture would be a good idea.

Have zero idea what happened. She’s fine now. Our precious little ducks can be complicated animals. Whew!

I would keep an eye on her to make sure she doesn't develop any issues. My duck has a similar thing recently and a week or two later she had a prolapse. If it were mine, I would give her some extra calcium for the next couple weeks. At the same time, nothing may come of it.

Glad she seems to be doing ok.
