Well, I'm super late in updating this, but I wanted to let anyone who is interested to know that two of the ducks recovered fully and are beautiful and healthy now.
One, the runner, had started to recover, but died suddenly one night. She kept choking on things throughout the time we had her(freaked me out quite a few times). This had happened from the first day or so that we had her. I wondered if she had a weird deformity with her throat or something.
That was sad for us all, but everyone handled it really well - my kids were more resilient than I expected. It was a good real life experience with animals. We all miss her though.
Thanks to all who tried to help and/or encourage.
