Duck/drake concerns?

Well...we traumatized the ducks by catching them one at a time, listening to them, and taking each one's picture so we could remember which was which, and it turns out that we have 8 ducks and 2 drakes (and we already knew that those two were drakes). Or is it possible that any of them are drakes even though they are definitely quacking? (One did switch between loud quacking and the more drake-like sound, but the others were CLEARLY quackers.). If it really is just two drakes, then we can probably keep them all together.
You're so lucky! That should work out fine buy you'll have to watch them like @Miss Lydia said.

I have 2 drakes with my 8 old girls and they all do fine and nothing is getting crazy. However, I just hatched out 9 little runners and I'm almost afraid to find out what I've got in that batch!

I can't believe our luck. I was trying not to hope too much, saying "Well, if we have seven drakes and only three ducks, that'll be okay too." Now I'm scared to ever get straight runs again, in case next time it's the opposite.

Hatching can be the same I hatched 6 ducklings last year only one was female!
just wondering, what age do you rehome your hatches? i want to hatch some next year (keep a couple girls) but i would have to rehome most of them. also, by any chance do you know how to vent sex?

My drakes last year were 12 weeks old and I don’t know how to vent sex I just kept them until I could tell by voice what sex they were.
what breed do you have? i have a khaki girl and a rouen girl and i’m really hoping at least one goes broody (also if anyone knows what pekin/khaki or pekin/rouen or rouen/khaki mixes would look like please post pics!)
