Duck/Drake ratio...

I am wondering how many females you need if you have 2 drakes.

Right now I have 6 females and 2 drakes (Swedish), but my females are being so noisy. I am thinking of selling 2 of them. That would leave me 2 drakes and 4 females. Will the girls be ok or get overmated?

They could be ok. You will have to keep an eye out for signs of over mating, but 2 girls per drake can work.

Just a warning...

Even if you sell your loudest ducks, the others, once the loud ones are gone, may just increase THEIR volume...LOL. This happened to me when I sold my buff. She was so mouthy she was driving me (and probably my neighbors) crazy! After she was gone, suddenly my previous quiet runner started making noise. She did settle down once I got more ducks, but that surprised me.
