Duck Duck Goose

Greetings!

I am a mom to a 3 1/2 week old duck (that I'm pretty sure is a female khaki campbell) and 3 dogs. Duck Duck Goose is the duck's name. She is living in our guest bathtub right now, but I'm about to transfer her outside. She has completely bonded to me, so wish me luck with the transition! Here is a picture of her from last week. What do y'all think? Khaki Campbell? The stripe on her neck is throwing me off. Her feathers are beginning to come in now and she is definitely in her ugly duckling phase. Her big girl feathers are brown and dark brown. I love it! I will have to post more recent pictures later.





This is my first duck, and I am hooked.

She is just adorable. You can post on the" Duck thread," for answers to duck specific questions. I do think she will be lonely without friends.
