I need some help and advice - friend at work saw a wood ducks in his back yard on Tuesday afternoon and saw that they were laying down by his pool edge. Next morning he saw a dead duck on the road (hit by car assumed), and later that afternoon he noticed an egg by the poll where the ducks had been the afternoon before. His granddaughter had picked up the egg and put it on the outdoor table hoping nothing would harm it (she is 6).
He brought the egg into work today (1.5 days after laying), wrapped in a towel and asked if I wanted to try with it (I have a habit of rescuing animals and rehoming where I can).
Is there any chance that anything would be viable with this egg?
