As I was turning the eggs I heard one egg chirping. Now I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't have turned them anymore. Should I up the humidity for hatching, although it's way too early. What's your opinion?

Goodmorning Runer, welcome to BYC. I do not have the answer to your question But Someone else will come by who does.. Since the majority of the people on this website come from the CST/MST/PST time zones it might take a while...

Hava a great Monday and all the best with your hatching. Must be so exciting to hear the first noises...

What day are they on? If it chirped ut has internally pipped and the hatching process has begun. Have you checked your incubator's temp with at least one calibrated thermometer? It has probably been too high.

Day 24. One has started to externally pip, cracked spot but no hole. I'm using a digital medical thermometer. I guess I can't do much anymore. Just hope for the best.

I ordered the eggs and they were in transit over 2 weeks. The larger eggs had disruptured air cells. Only the smaller ones started developing.

I have duck eggs on day 25 and as I was moving them to lock down I could hear two peeping and two more than were tapping on the shells.

My incubator temperature is pretty much spot on, I do staged hatching so have a different tray of eggs in each week, 3 trays at a time, all of the others are right on time.

I think you should definitely go ahead and place them in lockdown.

Now another egg cracked. Still no actual holes, is this normal?
