Goodmorning Runer, welcome to BYC. I do not have the answer to your question But Someone else will come by who does.. Since the majority of the people on this website come from the CST/MST/PST time zones it might take a while...As I was turning the eggs I heard one egg chirping. Now I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't have turned them anymore. Should I up the humidity for hatching, although it's way too early. What's your opinion?
What day are they on? If it chirped ut has internally pipped and the hatching process has begun. Have you checked your incubator's temp with at least one calibrated thermometer? It has probably been too high.As I was turning the eggs I heard one egg chirping. Now I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't have turned them anymore. I think you should definitely go ahead and place them in lockdown.Day 24. One has started to externally pip, cracked spot but no hole. I'm using a digital medical thermometer. I guess I can't do much anymore. Just hope for the best.
I ordered the eggs and they were in transit over 2 weeks. The larger eggs had disruptured air cells. Only the smaller ones started developing.
What breed are they? Now another egg cracked. Still no actual holes, is this normal?
