Okay, so two of my duck eggs are on day 19. One egg is small and one egg is larger. The small one seems to be right on track with development, but the big one looks like it is growing way too fast. In the larger egg, it is mostly black with only a little bit of light passing through by the air cell, and some light passing through on the other end. Now, I am starting to wonder if it maybe died and that's why it looks so strange. It was very much alive yesterday. Today, I don't see much movement. I only see slight movement, but I can't tell if it is the embryo moving, or just everything sloshing around inside. The little egg doesn't have much movement either, but i see one of the veins in it throbbing like blood is circulating through it, so I am confident that it is alive. Also, do embryos inside the egg ever rest, or stop moving for a little bit? Maybe my big egg is just resting and that is why I see little to no movement. I usually get very nervous with stuff like this so I am just trying to calm down, and try not to interfere with the eggs too much, but I am just so scared it will die (or already is dead)! Please any info will be very much appreciated!!!
