Duck Egg Emergency, Help...asap

anyone know, should I intervene yet, the baby has still not broke through the shell? the eggs were due on Sunday, so it is this many days late.

hahha.

I don't think you should intervene yet. If the baby is still pecking, moving, etc., it's best to just let nature take its course. I would just make sure that it has plenty of humidity and doesn't get too hot under the lamp. Hopefully things will work out fine.

the egg is cold to the touch though, the condensation is on the egg, so the moisture is there, but, the egg is cold. yet, it's right under the heat lamp,

I would hate for it to die, knowing it was peeping earlier,
there is still no progress and I don't know if I can hear anything anymore.

should the egg not be warm at least being under the lamp, is there too much moisture in there maybe???

I do have an incubator going, but, it's full of eggs, and i can't bump the humidity in that, I dont' want to risk losing those eggs.

ah,

If it was me, I would be sticking it in my bra or the incubator- even if the humidity is lower wrapped in a damp towel. I'm not a hatching expert- I have only hatched chicks 3 times and just hatched 9 BLue Swedish ducks over the weekend. I intervene and help if I think they are in trouble and I know a lot of people don't. I had a little duck hatch out with wry neck that couldn't stand and kept turining her head around, my husband made her a neck brace out of cardboard a spark plug was in and held her most of the day keeping her neck straight. 2 days later I can't tell which one it is. We are a little odd, I guess.
I'd put it in the incubator- it probably has better odds of surviving than in the bowl.

in my bra, now where will the humidity come from ??? and this is a serious question. and ummm, how long will that take?
and do I wrap it in anything?
