Duck egg has cracks on wrong side?

Do you mean pips on the pointed side of the egg? How long has it been since it piped? Do you hear chirping? Can you post some pictures?
Hi, got a picture, I heard a peep too, pretty sure it was him.

Ok I also candled again and was wrong, he is piping on the wrong side, I think I saw his bill by the wrong end. Should I he'll him? I saw movement. 2 days left, but 2 other ducks hatched like 4 days early so not sure what to do, also other eggs are making progress.

Eggs that have pipped on the wrong side can usually hatch on their own fine. It just takes them a little longer to get out. I would leave it alone for the next 48 hours. Monitor the egg to make sure the baby is still alive and that the membrane doesn't dry out. If nothing happens you can carefully start to assist per the instructions in this article. Keep us posted!

What day is it on? What breed?
Currently 2 days left, the breed should be silver apple or rouen/mallard or a mix, not quite sure. Hopefully silver appleyard, we picked out the white eggs, and 2 that have hatched are yellow silverapple looking, although they do seem to be a bit of a dirty yellow, so maybe a mix.
