unfortunately the embryo looks like its given up.. i could be wrong. ill hope for the best fingers crossed!

I'm not sure of the exact due date for this egg. I thought I logged it, but went to go check. Unfortunately, I did not. I've taken a few pictures while candling. Need to know...Is the little thing on the right track? Pipping or not pipping? Assistance needed? Any suggestions/advice please would be greatly appreciated.

●Incubation temp: 99.5 °f - 100.0°f
(Kept fluctuating due to the egg turner)


●Humidity: 60%-70%
(This is my concern due excessive. moisture causing the duckling to. drown. Still in the process of getting. those numbers down somewhere in. between 35%-50%)

•What should I do if excessive moisture is a problem here?


●Movement is present. Appears to look like the little thing is biting towards the air sac.


●Veins are still present

Looks like the baby still has two or three days left so don’t need to be worried! I’ve hatched lots of chicks and a few ducks too! Good luck!

No it does not look like it’s given up I’ve hatched lots of chicks before and seen the same thing.
