duck egg in bator with chicken eggs....day 21....

Sorry to say that the duck egg did not make it ....after nothing happening I candled and it was sloshy inside....when i cracked it the duck was only partially formed. Could the high humidity from the hatch do that? Well, now I know not to put a duck egg in bator with chicken eggs!!!
