I couldn’t find a Site for ducks, hopefully this is allowed
My Pekin is a good layer but is not broody.
I’m about to incubate 6 of her eggs but I notice when I remove the eggs from under her to store in my garage, she starts laying the rest in really random places sometimes breaking them and I can’t collect them properly, **I’m wondering if until that 6th egg is layed which is two days from now,can the eggs I plan on incubating remain in her nest or is it too hot outdoors.
78°F

?
If anything, the oldest egg may be the most sketchy, but I think it should be okay. Usually they are stored around 55 degrees, but 78 is far enough away from incubation temp that it should be okay. Let’s see what others think, though.
