A friend of mine has a duck that we believe to be egg bound. We can't get our eyes on the egg and everytime the duck strains she appears to prolapse. We can feel the egg but, can't see it... It has felt like it was mostly out of the vent but, it was still "stuck" in the tissue of the bird.....Can the vaginal tract twist? I don't believe that this egg is in the abdominal cavity, but, we can't get it out of the bird and we can't get into position to see it....any thoughts? I can try to get some pic.s tomorrow.
