I just put duck eggs into my incubator that someone gave me, and something's bugging me just a bit.

To date, all the rouen duck eggs I've seen are blue-tinged.

These are kind of pinkish beige.

She said they are rouen ducks, but... I dunno, can rouen eggs be pinkish beige?

I don't have any experience with rouens, but of the 4 runner ducks whose eggs I've seen, none of them lay the same colored egg.

Ming Mei lays eggs that are slightly bluish green, Victor lays eggs that are much larger and not quite as blue, Vinny lays light gray eggs (they are also really pointy on one end) about the size of Ming Meis, and Ollie lays almost white eggs with a slight green tint that are slightly larger than Ming Mei's but smaller than Victor's.
