I have a black Swedish and some other type of duck. Not sure of the breed as I rescued him from the flea market and the latino guy wasn't sure. I would say she is a mallard of some sort. **Anyways** Ducks at the age they should be laying or will be soon. So I noticed a red tiny round object in there coop bout the size of a bouncy ball. It had been squished and was all white inside. Didn't figure it was an egg but no clue how anything could have gotten in the coop that my girls didn't make. Well this morning at about 8AM when I do my check for a first egg I saw another squished red tiny ball. Slightly larger than the last. And by red I mean like ochre red not a pale red. So my question is.... are these eggs? why no yolk?? why so small?? if it is an egg whose is it??? Could it be a sign of illness or something wrong??? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

I picture would really help. A picture is worth a million words anyways! I can't really help you because I only have one duck and she lays thick shelled eggs. But a picture might help you get an answer from someone who knows more about this subject.
