Hello, I have hatched chicken eggs for a very long time and recently my sister in law has asked me to hatch some duck eggs. I don’t know the firs thing about hatching duck eggs and I have a automatic egg turner for chicken eggs. One of my questions is can I use the rails for the chicken eggs or will they be to small for duck eggs. If they are to small does anyone know where I can get a egg turner or rails that fit my current turner for duck eggs. Another question is what does the humidity and temperature have to be for duck eggs? When do they hatch? What day do you stop turning them? If they’re is any other advice let me know. Thanks!

I don't have any personal experience with incubators, but I do have experience with hatching duck eggs under a brooder. I've used my chicken hens to hatch duck eggs for me so I would assume the same temp/humidity levels would apply. And hatching time would be 28 days and 35 days for muscovies.

My duck eggs fin in my chicken egg trays.

I incubate mine at 99.5 f and about 40-45% humidity. Some people prefer a lower humidity though

When do they hatch?
Calls - ~26 days
Mallard Derived - ~28 days
Muscovies - ~35 days

What day do you stop turning them?
I stop turning my Mallard derived eggs at day 25.
