Love our duck eggs. eat them straight but also great for baking. Once our regular egg customers taste them at least 70% want duck eggs, but I don't have that many ducks so I have to ration them out. smile.Nancy

Is it usual for duck egg yolks to be so thick? Today I decided to feed some to the chickens and it was almost like jello...... I don't know if I had the fridge too cold, maybe I should just leave them out at room temp. Just wondering.....

Yes they are significantly thicker
