duck egg?

i just found an egg this morning and I'm wondering if my khaki campbell hen Celisse has started laying. i found it behind a piece of sheet metal in my hay barn, where Celisse had been just moments earlier. it was still warm.
I've looked at pictures on Google and it seems to be the right color, but it is the size of a regular chicken egg. Does anyone think it may be a duck egg, or did i find another stupid chicken egg? I love my chickens but Celisse is old enough to be laying and im so excited...

Congrats on the egg! My white runner lays white egg with a slight pink hue, my mallard colored runner-cross lays a big one with greenish hue, and my mallard runner lays a long egg with green hue. Campbell's eggs should be brown?

it's kind of a light brown-beige color. It's my first campbell egg, so i looked up pictures on Google.

Well, that one wasn't a duck egg, but she did start actually laying yesterday. That, or a chicken is mysteriously escaping the coop, laying an egg, coloring it brown, and then getting back in the coop with out a trace.
