Duck eggs alternative for Egg allergy?

I have a question for my fellow duck owner friends. Is it true if you suffer from an egg allergy that duck eggs are a safe alternative? I've been reading articles that suggest it is and I have never heard of this before. Thoughts???

Don't have the answer on duck eggs, but have read about quail eggs.
They are supposed to be tolerated by individual that cant have chicken eggs.
I am not a nutritionist, so these are things that I have read about in the past.
Hopefully we can hear from some duck owners out here.

Have read that ducks eggs are tolerated by some who are allergic to chicken eggs.
Surprised that no one else has replied.
Tho asking your doctor may be the best bet.
